Handmade from stoneware clay which will last indefinitely verses organic mounts, such as wood or cork, which eventually degrades over time. This orchid mount is flat, oval shape , brown in color , unglazed and has a rough texture surface on the face side. The rough texture gives roots a good surface to cling to.
