Made of stoneware ceramic which will last indefinitely verses organic mounts that eventually degrades over time such as wood and cork. This orchid mount is flat, square shape, brown in color , unglazed and has a rough textured surface on the face side. Approximate dimensions are 5-3/4"x5-3/4".
